Wayne and Sofia Monday
Alumni of Texas Bible College, the Wayne Mondays began their missionary ministry as AIMers in Panama in June 1993. Panama was familiar territory to Sofia Monday, for her missionary parents, John and Aurelia Hopkins, reared her there. The Mondays received their appointment in September 1996 and returned to the field in February 2000. He stated, “I presently serve the work as Bible school administrator and teacher and missions director. I teach Romans and Hermeneutics and oversee the operation of the institute. As missions director I visit the churches promoting missions giving and evangelism. Because of the missions program, a new work has opened in Colon and construction has begun on the first church to be funded by our missions program.”
